The pandebono is awesome! So warm and much larger than what most bakeries sell. Their fresh juices are also great to try. When I walked in, the place was pretty crowded, but someone helped me right away. Loved it..I'll be back for breakfast!

Pretty good pandebono and empanadas. The empanadas have gotten much smaller compared to before & pricey but still very good

Everything is authentic and delicious! The service is friendly and helpful. I am from California and was looking for something good. So thankful for Yelp for bringing me to this place! Super delicioso y cuando vuelva a Florida tengo que regresar!

DON'T FORGET CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've never eaten lunch here but I often stop by for breakfast. Grab myself a few pan de bonos, empanadas, bunuelos, arepa con huevo, and so on and so forth. The prices are reasonable but wish they were a little cheaper. However, the place is delicious, if you like milk try their Milo soooo GOOD!!

I love the mondongo here. Very flavorful. Good typical Colombian street food and bakery. Inexpensive & fresh. But the rest of the food can be greasy.

I have been eating at this bakery for about at least 8 years and they are always consistently great! It's a small location located in a shopping mall that I discovered when I was employed nearby. A customer brought me some enpanadas de carne and I've been hooked ever since! It's been a bit since I've been here but everything was just as I remembered it. You may have to wait a few minutes to order but never too long. The ladies are very friendly here. Always smiling and saying something sweet, trying to make conversation. I love their sunny disposition :) Ok so... The food. The pan de Bono is HUGE! Twice the size of what I usually find at other colonial bakeries. They usually have them hot, just out of the oven. They're always cranking them out because they're so popular. And so damn good! The carne empanadas are simply delectable. The cornmeal used is very flavorful and fried where the outside is crunchy but the inside is soft. The filling is amazing. The tastiest meat and potatoes. I love that you can actually see the chunks of meat and potatoes. It's not a mush like other empanadas I've eaten. I got a chorizo which is usually very good but I'm a little picky and prefer mine a little over cooked. My cafe con leche was perfect. I can't wait til my next visit to Los Balkanes!

I absolutely LOVE going here! I am sad that I am moving away from Miami and can't eat here anymore. They have delicious arepas and cafe con leche. I also love the merengues there. The staff is friendly, at times a bit off but usually friendly and you can always count on the food being good. Recommended for breakfast.

This small Colombian bakery could use some TLC. You can't help but notice the dirty tabletop and floors from the minute you walk in. They have a pretty small array of Colombian hot and sweet pastries to choose from, nothing to brag about. Luckily, if you ask for a hot Pan de Bono, they'll give you a fresh one instead of the ones that have been sitting in the display for what looks like days. Their fresh ones are really good, so definitely ask for them and don't settle for the others. Their empanadas are not great and lacked some serious flavor. When I tried to order a batido (shake) from their expansive menu, the young lady behind the counter said they only had two flavors available, which are made from ice cream and not fresh fruit. If it wasn't from the polite service and good FRESH pan de Bono, I wouldn't think twice about giving this place 1 star. I'm sure there's much better Colombian bakeries in the area with better food and a much cleaner, inviting feel to them.

Ever since I tasted the arepa de huevo, my goodness I've been hooked! It's my absolute favorite and I haven't found it anywhere else! Only tip, get there early in the morning because the run out quick. Very good place to have a quick breakfast, delicious.

The empanadas are Amazing...and they give you an awesome little hot sauce on the side...the corn arepas con queso are delicious too. There is still a lot more stuff I want to try (: my new spot!

The meat empanadas are delicious, as well as most of there frituras and arepas. But the service isn't great, the lines can get lengthy depending on the time you get there and there are no tables to sit, only a bar with less than 10 stools. My suggestion is get there early and take the food to go.

This place has the best Colombian mondongo in the area. I was not a fan of mondongo until I tries this place. The soup is flavorful and has the tripe and vegetables only no pork meat inside unlike the other places. The empanadas are good and the pan de bonos are bigger than the nearby Colombian bakeries.
